Summer 2024 at Foyer

We are still waiting for that good summer weather, but that does not stop Foyer from putting together a well-filled summer programme. It has long been known that Foyer never sits still. During the summer holidays, we organise numerous activities for everyone. Below is an overview of all activities. Would you like to register or find out more about an activity? Dar Al Amal summer activities

Dar Al Amal, the emancipation house for women, is organising some outings close to home this summer. Would you like to sign up or have any questions? Then get in touch at katelijn.schevelenbos@foyer.be or on 02/411 84 44.

The first activity will take place on Tuesday July 9. We will hold a participative picknick at Parkfarm (the park at Tour & Taxis)! We meet at Dar al Amal (Ribaucourtstraat 51, 1080 Brussels) at 11h30 and will be back at 14h30.

On Thursday July 11 we are heading to the Bois de la Cambre in Brussels where we will take a walk through the park, have a cosy picnic and go pedal boating! We meet at 9h15 at Dar Al Amal (Ribaucourtstraat 51, 1080 Brussels) and are back at 15h. This activity costs €5.

On Friday 12 July, the neighbourhood party will take place on Place Lehon in Schaerbeek. We’ll be taking advantage of the day to join the party as a group!

We will make a big bicycle tour on Tuesday, 16 July. We leave at 10am at Dar Al Amal. On the way, we will stop to have a picnic. We will be back in Brussels at 5pm.

Another walk is planned on Wednesday July 17. We will go to Tervuren Park to walk along the ponds, and have a cosy picnic. We meet at 10am at the terminus of tram 44 and are back at 3pm. This activity is free of charge.

On Tuesday August 27, we take a big trip to Pairi Daiza. In this animal park, you can see more than 800 different animal species from the five continents. It promises to be a day full of wonder! We meet at KBC at 8.15am and are back in Brussels at 7.30pm. This excursion costs €20, register in time as places are limited.

Summer activities Foyer des Jeunes

Foyer des Jeunes and Jongerenwerking have a varied programme for the month of July. So there is definitely something for everyone! Registration is still open until Friday, so be quick. You always register for a whole week. You can register on site at Werkhuizenstraat 23, 1080 Brussels. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at 02/411 74 95.

The first week (from Tuesday 09/07 to Saturday 13/07) costs a total of €10. The programme includes a trip to the sea, a city game in Brussels and a multimedia workshop! The second week (from Tuesday 16/07 to 18/07) costs a total of €5. Then we go on a trip to Ghent, we have an artistic workshop and you get the chance for an initiation in a bike park.

Brusselbende Jongerenwerking

This year, Brusselbende will take place from Monday 26 August to Friday 30 August. This week is organised by Jongerenwerking. Are you starting Dutch-speaking secondary education in September and would you like to brush up on your Dutch? Then this is the perfect week!

Every morning the focus is on Dutch in an instructive and playful way. In the afternoon, various relaxing activities are scheduled! You can register for free, but places are limited so be quick! You can find all the information here. Still have questions? Contact us on 02/411 74 95.

Jongerwerking also organises summerweeks in july! You can find the activities for the week of 02/07 until 06/07 here.
Then they prepared, together with Foyer des Jeunes, different activities for te week of 09/07 until 13/07 and for the week of 16/07 until 18/07. Activities in the parks

Last but not least, during the months of July and August, Foyer organises activities in the various parks of Brussels. Come and join us in the green spaces of Brussels and find connection with nature and others. Registration is not necessary for these activities. Find an overview of all dates and parks here!

Back
